18,000 SamcodinACK Drug Pills Misused To Get Drunk Confiscated By Bengkulu Police
BENGKULU - Bengkulu Regional Police (Polda) confiscated 18,000 pills of cough medicine brand 'Samcodin' which were abused to get drunk. The drug that was originally used to use a doctor's prescription is easy to find in pharmacies. "The team has confiscated three large packages containing 6,000 Samcodin cough drugs in Bengkulu City," said Deputy Director of Drug Investigation at the Bengkulu Police AKBP Tony Kurniawan at the Bengkulu Police Narcotics Directorate Hall, Thursday, July 13, confiscated by Antara. In addition, the Directorate of Drug Investigation (Dirresnarkoba) of the Bengkulu Police also arrested the suspect's initials AN, a resident of Sungai Serut District, Bengkulu City, who had thousands of cough pills. The arrest was made when suspect AN will take the Samcodin package which he ordered online through one of the marketplaces in Rawa Makmur Village. "The arrest of the suspect began when he received information that someone often brought a Samcodin type drug in the Rawa Makmur area and the team conducted an investigation of the information received," he said.
By the suspect, the cough medicine will be sold at a price of Rp. 100,000 per box with 10 drug strips to be sold to students and the general public.
