BOGOR - Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) will re-verify related to the provision of Permanent Housing (Huntap) to disaster victims. This was after the Ombudsman found several irregularities. One of the notes of the Ombudsman which became a corrective suggestion is the existence of a number of huntap lands used by individuals in the disaster area which resulted in the uneven distribution of huntap. Head of Housing Division of the Housing Office of Settlement and Land Affairs (DPKPP) Bogor Regency, Dede Armansyah said, if the corrective suggestion is now underway. "The first step is to carry out factual verification based on conditions in the field," said Dede, Wednesday, July 12. Dede does not deny if the Ombudsman findings are true. Because at the time of the huntap distribution, he admitted that there were a number of problems especially during the process of handing over the huntap key to disaster-affected residents. "Given that there are several huntaps that have been built and have been distributed yet not been inhabited. So for that, we will re-verify the prospective recipients," said Dede. However, according to him, in the process of re-feasitive verification, the Bogor Regency Government must form an integrated team of a number of related parties. "The corrective report that the Bogor Regency Government must follow up on is that the regency government in carrying out such verification must form an integrated team, this is also important so that we look at this issue thoroughly," he explained. However, the corrective suggestions given by the Ombudsman to the Bogor Regency Government do not refer to the imposition of sanctions. Dede assessed that the efforts made by Ombudsman are an effort to accelerate the completion of huntap settlement. "So once again we assess that the final report on the results of the Ombudsman Commission's examination are more on efforts to speed up the huntap for victims of natural disasters," he said.
