The Commotion Of JIS Improvement Issues Related To Politics, Jakmania: We Don't Care
JAKARTA - General Chairperson of The Jakmania Diky Soemarno met with the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono at DKI Jakarta City Hall. One of the things discussed was regarding the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
However, Jakmania did not want to question the polemic of the JIS improvement plan associated with political elements. Diky admitted that his party only encouraged Heru to immediately facilitate JIS as Persija Jakarta's home.
"To be honest, Jakmania doesn't care about all kinds of political affairs. We better care about how to let Persija have a house in Jakarta. So, if you want anyone, we don't really care about that, but how can we use a stadium owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," said Diky at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, July 7.
Therefore, Diky encouraged the DKI Provincial Government to accelerate the implementation of JIS improvements, starting from inadequate infrastructure to facilitating road access in the vicinity.
"What is clear is that it also encourages to perfect things that the DKI Provincial Government feels are lacking in all kinds of things that can all be more comfortable, it is done by the DKI Provincial Government," said Diky.
Diky also asked Heru for support so that he could win League 1 next season. He also hopes that in the future more matches can be held in Jakarta.
"Ask for your support, Mr. Governor, so that Persija can run smoothly and be approved to play in Liga 1 and if possible, there are indeed many matches that can be held in Jakarta," he said.

Previously, the spokesman for the presidential candidate Anies Baswedan, Surya Tjandra, accused a number of President Joko Widodo's ministers of JIS of political origin.
According to Surya, the arrival of PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono and SOE Minister Erick Thohir reviewed JIS and immediately set a renovation plan more like part of a politicization plan than for the implementation of the U-17 World Cup host.
This, said Surya, can be seen from the results of the government inspection which further highlighted the grass repair plan by inviting a grass contractor to the stadium in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
"In fact, suddenly someone became a grass expert just to show the shortcomings of JIS. Obviously this is only intended for politicization of presidential candidate Anies Baswedan," Surya said in his statement, Wednesday, July 5.
According to this former PSI politician, it should be the one who can judge whether it is feasible or not is FIFA. Instead, it is considered unethical when someone who has a business interest is asked to provide an evaluation.
What is clear is that it has business interests. So what are the results of the evaluation can be trusted? Methodically, how can grass be sampled, which is outside the match line? He said.
