Compact Handling Stunting, Governor Ganjar And Atikoh Received Awards From BKKBN
Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and his wife Siti Atikoh support each other and work hand in hand to overcome problems related to population and family planning, including reducing stunting rates. Ganjar, who serves as Governor of Central Java and Siti Atikoh who served as Chairman of the Central Java PKK Mobilization Team, collaborated to reduce stunting rates in Central Java. Good collaboration between the two has yielded significant results. At the end of the period his position, the stunting rate in Central Java fell drastically by 51 percent. In 2018, the stunting rate in Central Java was recorded at 24.4 percent. In 2022, the stunting rate in Central Java was only 11.9 percent. This achievement earned both of them an award. At the peak of the 30th National Family Day Commemoration (Harganas) held by Banyuasin, South Sumatra, Ganjar and Atikoh, the BKKBN. Ganjar received an honorary award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Satya Wira Karya's Badge. The award was given by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin in the 30th National Price Peak in Banyuasin, Thursday 6 July. Ganjar received an award for his commitment to population and family planning programs, especially stunting handling. The day before, Siti Atikoh also received an award from the BKKBN. This mother of one is considered successful in leading the Central Java PKK TP and is actively fostering families and accompanying mothers, as well as reducing stunting to only 11.9 percent in 2022 based on electronic calculations - Community-Based Nutrition Registration and Reporting (ePPGBM). "I express my gratitude, because the work of good, compact, structured and systematic friends so that we can reduce the stunting rate properly," said Ganjar. Ganjar explained, there are many programs that have been carried out to deal with stunting in Central Java. Among them is the Central Java Gayeng Nginceng Wong Meteng (5Ng) program. "It's a program of attention to pregnant women, checking since the beginning of pregnancy, providing nutritional intake, continuous control until delivery. After birth the child is given exclusive breast milk, including nutrition, continues to be considered," he explained. Ganjar said, stunting management cannot be done solely by the government. Therefore, Ganjar thanked all parties who have helped. "I thank you because the private sector is involved, BUMN, BUMD is involved, so everyone is involved.
