One Aceh Hajj Pilgrim Cancels Returning In Group 1 Because Passport Is Lost
BANDA ACEH - Aceh's Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) said that a Hajj participant from Aceh had to be postponed to return to the country with the first flying group (cluter) due to loss of his passport.
"His name is Faridah from Aceh Besar District", said PPIH Chairman of the Aceh Embarkation Azhari in Banda Aceh as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 5.
He explained that the plan for the first batch of pilgrims to return to Tanah Rencong was 393 people or complete. However, one of them lost his passport while at King Abdul Azis Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Currently, said Azhari, the pilgrims have pocketed a Passport Travel Letter (SPLP) and are scheduled to return to the country with batch three.
"Alhamdulillah, the SPLP has been issued and God willing, it will depart in the third batch", said Azhari.
Meanwhile, other pilgrims who are members of the first batch arrived in the country on Wednesday (5/7) at around 03.17 WIB via Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport (SIM) Aceh Besar.
"Alhamdulillah, the first flying group of pilgrims, the Aceh Embarkation, have landed safely", said Azhari.

The first batch of pilgrims came from Banda Aceh City, Aceh Besar District, and Pidie Jaya Regency. After following a series of examinations at the Hajj dormitory, the worshipers were immediately escorted to their hometowns and picked up by their families.
There were 4,561 Acehnese pilgrims who left for the Holy Land along with officers. Then, seven people died, two mutations entered between the embarkations, so that 4,556 Hajj participants who were going home.
Seven Acehnese pilgrims who died this year came from two people from Lhokseumawe City, two from North Aceh, and one each from Bireuen, Banda Aceh, and West Aceh.
