Jambi Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Counterfeiting 90 Hectares Of Land Certificates

JAMBI - Jatanras Sub-Directorate III Team of the Jambi Police Ditreskrimum arrested two perpetrators who were involved in the alleged case of forgery of land certificates covering an area of 90 hectares, Kemingking Village, Muarojambi Regency.

Head of Sub-Directorate III Jatanras Ditreskrimum Jambi Police Commissioner Johan Silaen explained that the perpetrators arrested were Muhammad Rukli and Marwiyah. Both of them have now been detained at the Mapolda detention center for the examination and filing of their cases.

Jambi Police investigators have named three suspects. Meanwhile, another person on behalf of Ramli is suspected of running away before being arrested.

"It's true, we secured the perpetrator on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, on suspicion of falsification of land documents in Kemingking," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, July 1.

Currently, the perpetrators have been detained at the Jambi Police Headquarters detention center and have been named suspects in the alleged letter forgery case.

"We suspect that under Article 263 and/or Article 163 of the Criminal Code, the threat is above 5 years in prison," he added.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for PT Wiltop Inti Nusantara (WIN) Abdull Jabbar emphasized that the arrest of the perpetrators further strengthened that the 90 hectare land was legally owned by PT WIN.

"We appreciate the police who have followed up on our report, with the arrest of the perpetrators further confirming that the 90 hectare land is indeed owned by PT WIN," he said.
