Police Ordered To Shoot At Motorcycle Gang Places That Threaten Citizens' Safety
The rise of violent acts carried out by motorcycle gangs, Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Ari Setyawan Wibowo gave an ultimatum for shooting on the spot to any motorcycle gang member who threatened the safety of residents and security officers.
"To anyone, whether it's a motorcycle gang or not, we don't hesitate to take measured decisive action such as shooting on the spot if the action threatens the safety or lives of residents or security officers," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 30.
According to Ari, this measured decisive action is his commitment in providing a sense of security and comfort to the people who live, especially those who are active at night, especially in the jurisdiction of the Sukabumi City Police.
In fact, it is not only members of motorcycle gangs who commit acts of violence so that other people's lives are threatened with arrest. In addition, those who hide will be chased until caught.
Therefore, he reminded members of motorcycle gangs in the safe not to try to interfere with security, except to try to feel a shot on the spot by police personnel.
"We will not provide the slightest room for motorcycle gang members who commit criminal acts, let alone threaten and endanger the community or security officers," he added.
On the other hand, Ari guarantees the safety of all residents, especially those who are active at night, because to narrow the space for motorcycle gangs and other street criminals by placing their personnel at various points.
The police also increased patrols, both by the Persisi Patrol Team of the Sukabumi City Police, as well as other personnel on duty in the police and police stations.
