Allegedly Knowing The Flow Of Ben Brahim And His Wife's Money, The KPK Checks The Financial Director Of Political Indicators
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the Finance Director of PT Indicator Politik Indonesia Fauny Hidayat on Monday, June 26.He is suspected of knowing about the flow of money from the inactive Kapuas Regent Ben Brahim S. Bahat and his wife, Ary Egahni, who is a member of the NasDem Faction DPR."The investigation included deepening the flow of money, among which was also used to finance the polling survey for the nomination of regional heads against the suspect and his wife," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, June 27.It did not specify how much money was included in this survey institute. However, Fauny Hidayat's statement is believed to make clear the alleged receipt of money from the Regional Apparatus Work Unit (SKPD) in the Kapuas Regency Government and bribery for plantation location permits.Previously, the KPK detained Kapuas Regent Ben Brahim with his wife, Ary on Tuesday, March 28. Both are suspected of having received money from the Regional Apparatus Work Unit (SKPD) and private parties as well as bribes related to the permit for the plantation location.The money they received was allegedly used to compete in political contests, including financing Ary as a legislative candidate in 2019.The amount of money received by Ben and Ary allegedly reached Rp8.7 billion, of which Rp2 billion was to pay for the survey. Even so, this number can still increase because the anti-corruption commission continues to move.
