Puri Family Ensures Pelebon Raja Denpasar IX Tak Jor-joran
DENPASAR - Son of Agung Ngurah Gede Dharmayuda, representative of the family as well as Chairman of the Committee for the Work of Pelebon (burning) Raja Denpasar IX from Puri Agung Denpasar Ida Tjokorda Ngurah Jambe Pemecutan stated that the series of ceremonies held were not jor-joran.
"He (the late King of Denpasar IX) has the appropriateness and in terms of this ability, he is not jor-joran. We just want to continue the best puryo arrangements," Dharmayuda said in Denpasar as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.
According to him, the series of ceremony preparations that have been running for four months and the peak on Wednesday (21/6) can be carried out thanks to the cooperation of the support of the extended family of Pasemetetonan Puri Agung Denpasar.
"The crowd placed him in the highest and foremost place because he was the abireka. The only king in Bali who was deadlocked (proposed king) with the highest procession was the same as the Queen of Peranda (Hitudi convict)," he said.
Therefore, the family agreed to give an offering to the late King of Denpasar IX with the highest level of ceremony known as the Works Pelebon Kehiduhan Ngesti Wedana.
"That is the most important level of the ceremony that we take because he is indeed an abireka. If he is not serious, maybe the level of the ceremony is lower and does not use an overlapping bade (level) 11. However, it is enough to overlap only nine," he said.
Dharmayuda added that the layon (jenazah) from the puryo will be carried directly by the family of Puri Agung Denpasar on Jalan Veteran No 62 Denpasar.
Then it will be raised to an overlapping 11 body reservoir as high as 22 meters close to the office of the Governor of Bali Jaya Sabha and the intersection of the Catur Muka Statue, because the place was the location of Puri Agung Denpasar before the Puputan war in 1906.

"Not all of them can perform ceremonies with an overlapping bade of 11 even though they are financially capable. Don't forget cultural traditions so that we don't lose our identity," he said.
Chairman of the Indonesian Tourism Lovers Association (P3I) Jeffry Yunus said the splendor of herbal culture as the Pelebon Raja Denpasar IX incident could be interpreted as an encouragement for preserving cultural heritage that could bring in foreign exchange.
In addition, of course, it is interpreted as a sacred procession of awareness about the values of life and life.
"The Pelebon Raja Denpasar IX title can show the world that the current generation is very serious in ensuring that the abundance of Balinese traditional heritage continues to be maintained, as a clean environment is sustainable," he said.
According to him, the King of Denpasar IX has passed on a message about the balance of the progress of the times while still based firmly on the culture where the earth is based.
This essence captivates the world, so that Bali has always been fragrant as the best and very high-valued destination in the context of tourism.
