Taking A Fast Train From King Abdulaziz Airport, A Group Of Members Of The DPR Hajj Supervisory Team Arrived In Medina
The DPR's Hajj surveillance team, which consists of two dozens of people, arrived in Medina City, Saudi Arabia, on Monday (19/6) night, after traveling about two hours by fast train from KING Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah City.
Member of the House of Representatives' Hajj Supervision Team Maman Imanul Haq said the team would check the provision of accommodation and catering services for Indonesian pilgrims.
Maman admitted that he received information about the maktab problem and food portions for the pilgrims.
"We want to check the extent of the availability of maktab, as well as the extent of the availability of catering received by pilgrims. We will clarify what the problem is," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.
In addition, according to him, the DPR's Hajj supervision team will review services for members of the elderly pilgrims.
"Of course, the matter of maktab is the first point, catering, health, including we also want to see the extent of service to the elderly. We will see if the elderly are really well served or there are still shortcomings that we have to fix," he said.
Another member of the DPR, Mufti Anam, said the team would check to ensure the implementation of Hajj services in accordance with what had been agreed upon by the Ministry of Religion and the DPR.

"We will check because there are many complaints. Before leaving, we communicated with several pilgrims about catering. We want everything to go according to what was agreed between the DPR and the Ministry of Religion," he said.
Mufti explained that the Hajj supervisory team will also check the implementation of health services for Indonesian pilgrims.
"We checked all of this first because information from the public is not necessarily true, sorry for the friends here who have worked hard," he said.
Maman conveyed that the next DPR would discuss the results of a review of the implementation of Hajj services in the Holy Land with the Ministry of Religion so that it could be used as input to improve services.
