Ministry Of Religion: Life Insurance Transferred To Hajj Participants Account
The Ministry of Religion ensures that life insurance for pilgrims who die will be transferred to the accounts of the Hajj participants.
This will make it easier for the heirs to take care of the disbursement and cover insurance since entering the embarkation dormitory until returning to their Hajj debarkation.
Not only life insurance, as a form of the state being present in providing a sense of security as well as comfort for Indonesian pilgrims in worshiping in the Holy Land, they are also guaranteed accident insurance.
"Later on, the insurance company will pay claims through transfer of certificates for Hajj participants. So, the family only needs to carry out the disbursement process," said Head of the Saudi Arabia Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) 1444 H/2023 M Subhan Cholid, in Mecca, ArabSaudi as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, June 17.
Subhan explained that the insurance will be transferred to the recipient bank of the initial deposit of Hajj participants and can start processing after the completion of the operation of the Hajj in early August 2023.
"To make it easier, the management of insurance is fully carried out by the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah," said Subhan.
As of Saturday, it was recorded that 77 Indonesian Hajj participants died in Medina, Mecca, Jeddah, and on the plane on their way from the country to Saudi Arabia.
"The insurance has covered since the congregation entered the Hajj embarkation dormitory until the congregation returned to the hajj debarkation," said Subhan.
