Playing Eye With Man On Facebook, Wife In South Sumatra Died By Husband With Kitchen Knife
SOUTH SUMATRA - Ogan Komering Ulu Police (OKU) arrested the husband with the initials MA (40) who killed his legal wife Siti Rahma (35). His wife's life was killed because MA was burning with jealousy.
"We arrested the suspect this afternoon while in the Upper Market area of Baturaja City at around 11.30 WIB," said OKU Police Chief, AKBP Arif Harsono in Baturaja, OKU, South Sumatra (Sumsel), Tuesday, June 13, confiscated by Antara.
The resident of Sriwijaya Hospital Housing, Sekarjaya Village, East Baturaja District was desperate to kill his wife because the victim was suspected of having an affair with another man through social media Facebook (FB).
After killing his wife with five stab wounds in the early hours of Sunday, June 11, MA fled and threw away the knife he used to kill the victim into the river.
However, his escape did not last long. The police arrested the Supreme Court in the Pasar Atas Baturaja area, East Baturaja District, OKU, without a fight.
"The perpetrator was arrested while trying to escape to his garden in Lengkiti District to hide from the officers' pursuit," he said.

In addition to arresting the Supreme Court, the police also secured evidence of victims' clothes, sheets and blankets covered in blood.
"We have secured the suspect, but we are still looking for evidence of a knife to kill the victim who was thrown by the perpetrator into the river," he said.
In front of investigators, the Supreme Court suspect admitted that he was desperate to kill the victim's life because he was burned by a jealous fire after catching his wife receiving a message via messenger FB.
"I went dark because I was burned by a jealous fire when my wife received a message from another man that stabbed her with a kitchen knife," said the suspect.
For his actions, the Supreme Court was charged with Article 338 concerning murder and Article 44 concerning domestic violence which resulted in the death of the victim with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
