Polemic Of Demolition Of Plaza Bogor, DPRD Wants PPJ To Facilitate Relocation Places Worth Traders

BOGOR - Commission II of the Bogor City DPRD held a working meeting with an agenda of finding a solution to the polemic of the Plaza Bogor emptying process and at the meeting asked Perum Pasar Pakuan Jaya (PPJ) to provide a suitable location for relocation of traders.

During the meeting, Commission II of the Bogor City DPRD presented the board of directors of Perum Pasar Pakuan Jaya (PPJ) and representatives of traders who are currently still at Plaza Bogor.

The working meeting was chaired by the Chairman of Commission II of the Bogor City DPRD, Anita Primasari Mongan and attended by Deputy Chairperson of Commission II, Jatirin and members of Commission II, Muaz HD, Ujang Sugandi, R. Oyok Sukardi, Mahpudi Ismail and Rizal Utami.

Anita explained, based on the results of the meeting, finally Commission II of the Bogor City DPRD managed to find a midpoint based on the wishes of traders and the wishes of Perumda PPJ regarding the plan to relocate Plaza Bogor traders.

"Actually (there is a meeting point), what traders hope is that the shelter will be built at that time. Now they hope it's not far away, close to it. If Block F and B are a bit far away. So it is possible that it will be in the Bogor Market," Anita explained in her statement, Friday, June 9.

However, Anita assessed that the condition of the Bogor Market is still far from feasible to accommodate Plaza Bogor traders. So he asked Perumda PPJ to clean up the Bogor Market so that traders can sell comfortably and buyers can shop safely.

Not only that, Anita also firmly ensured that she would oversee the policies of the Bogor City PPJ Perumda board of directors regarding rental price incentives for relocation traders.

"So that's all. Perumda PPJ is committed, and we are guarding that commitment. I'm waiting for the news today regarding rental fees," said Anita.

Based on the results of the meeting, it was known that the construction process of Plaza Bogor would take 1.5 years. So that later it will have an impact on decreasing income from Perumda PPJ which affects the contribution to PAD Bogor City.

Anita also emphasized to Perumda PPJ to minimize the potential loss of income.

"That's right, PD Pasar has also stated that they have lost almost 50 percent with this. So that's why we hope that traders will cooperate too, because that's good, even though it's only 50 percent. At least, there is," he concluded.
