All New Xenia And Rocky Kena Recall, Daihatsu: Good Luck In December

JAKARTA - PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) has withdrawn the All New Xenia and Rocky models due to problems in the airbag. This recall is expected to be completed in December so that customers can reuse the two models on a daily basis.

"Our target is until December, but we hope that customers will come soon," said Sri Agung Handayani, Marketing Director and Corporate Planning and Communication Director of PT ADM, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, June 8.

Daihatsu has recalled 1,210 units of both models. Sri Agung said that several affected customers responded positively to this recall. Some consumers even came to the workshop without being notified based on information from the mass media.

Although the number of vehicles affected is not large, PT ADM remains serious in handling this problem and tries to provide the best service so that customers feel safe when driving Daihatsu cars.

This recall is related to the inspection and replacement of the Airbag ECU to ensure its good function in both cars.

Airbags function to protect drivers and passengers when the car crashes or crashes, to reduce the risk of injury.

The affected vehicles were production between December 15, 2022, to January 11, 2023, with a total of 1,095 units of All New Xenia and 115 units of Rocky.
