Through The Implementation Of The 2023 XVI Penas In West Sumatra, KKP Wants To Encourage The Superior Village Of The SFV Adoption
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) through the Marine and Fisheries Research and Human Resources Agency (BRSDM KP) will hold the XVI 2023 National Week (Penas), which will take place in Padang, West Sumatra, on June 10-15.
This is done as an effort to encourage leading villages in Indonesia to adopt the Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) program in Penas XVI 2023.
Head of BRSDM I Nyoman Radiarta said Penas was the right forum to promote the priority program based on the blue economy from the KKP.
"Through five programs, we are trying to implement it through the BRSDM KP Strategic Program, namely SFV and Vocal Goes to Actors (Voga) by presenting Mini SFV and SFV Training Center," said Nyoman at the KKP Bahari Bincang in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 6.
Mini SFV that the KKP presents at Penas XVI 2023 will adopt agriculture and fisheries, as well as local commodities called mineral or mina holticulture.
In addition, there is the SFV Training Center which presents thematic saung containing coaching clinics in terms of cultivation, product processing, fish health, and various other related materials.
The SFV Training Center will also accommodate the Advanced Fisherman Village Program (Kalaju) and Aquaculture Village (KPB), which is one of the KKP Priority Programs.
The KKP also enlivens the Penas Farmers of XVI 2023 through humanities, such as coloring competitions, drawing, prize quizzes, and other interesting activities, which aim to socialize the BRSDM Strategic Program and the KKP Priority Program.
"With the presence of Mini SFV and SFV Training Center, we certainly hope that this can be a pilot and lever the availability of food for the community, food for the village, and food for the family," added Nyoman.
