Reveals There Are Other Political Parties Joining Support, Ganjar: We Wait 2 Days

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo said that other parties would join forces to support him. He asked the public to wait in the near future.

"Regarding which party carries the party, we will wait for the news in two days," said Ganjar at the Aspiration House for Winning Volunteers, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 1.

However, Ganjar is still closing the meeting of which political parties will follow the steps of the PDI-P (PDIP), PPP, and Hanura. He asked everyone to be patient.

Meanwhile, regarding the vice presidential candidate, the Governor of Central Java did not want to speculate. This is entirely the authority of the joint political party that carries it.

Ganjar mengatakan nantinya partai-partai politik yang mengusungnya di Pilpres 2024 akan kembali berkumpul khusus untuk membahaskan siapa tokoh yang paling pak pasangkan dengannya.

"We provide space because of course it is undeniable that the parties also have candidates. Let them convey that they will be pounded later." he said.

"Mrs. Mega (Chairman of PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri) has said, 'We'll talk about it first, after that we will sit down who the candidate is the most appropriate'," added Ganjar.

Previously, PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri had admitted that she had pocketed 10 candidates for vice president to accompany Ganjar in the 2024 presidential election.

Later, PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani also leaked a number of names that were included in the vice presidential market. Among them are the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno to the Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque Nasaruddin Umar.
