SBY Will Meet Anies In Pacitan? Democrat: We Don't Know That Certainty Yet
PACITAN - 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) reportedly held a meeting with Anies Baswedan in Pacitan Regency, East Java, today Thursday, June 1. However, this information is still confusing.
A number of media crews in the regions are still waiting for confirmation of the news while continuing to monitor activities at the SBY*ANI Museum which is on the ring route as well as the southern route of Pacitan City.
Information on the planned meeting was leaked to the media following the arrival of the Chairman of the Democratic Party's High Council in his homeland in Pacitan City since last Wednesday.
His arrival at that time was greeted directly by the Regent of Pacitan Indrata Nur Bayuaji, as well as the board of the DPC of the Pacitan Regency Democratic Party.
"Regarding whether Pak SBY will meet Pak Anies (in Pacitan), we do not know the certainty. We will convey other information regarding this matter later," said DPC Secretary of the Democratic Party Arif Setyo Budi to the media.
"Pak SBY, starting on May 24, is still in Pacitan Regency to this day. There are a number of agendas," continued Arif.
Previously, the father of the General Chairperson of the DPP Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, also met other presidential candidates promoted by the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subiakto at the SBY*ANI Museum, Pacitan on May 20.
