This Is What Toyota Mirai Sport's Concept Looks Like

JAKARTA - A sports-style sedan appeared on the Fuji Speedway circuit recently. The car is the Toyota Mirai Sport Concept which is secretly shown to the public.

The car caught the attention of circuit visitors who were watching Fuji 24 Hours at the end of last week. This sporty-style Toyota Mirai is present next to Toyota Gazoo Racing's stand.

Reporting from Carscoops, Monday, May 29, via video from one of the Japanese YouTubers 'Ride Now', Mirai Sport looks to have undergone several changes when compared to the standard version.

The Mirai Sport Concept features a bemper piece that is redesigned by placing a large grip. The rear bumper also experienced an update by presenting it with a diffuser and rear wing that contributed to the aerodynamics of the car.

This car is presented with the color Matte Steel which comes from GR Corolla with several parts covered with carbon fibers. This concept is also displayed by branding "Mirai Sport" which further strengthens the sporty side of this car.

Mirai Sport Concept is also equipped with Michelin Pilot's Sport S 245/40R21 tires with a rim from 21-inch BBS. This car is also arranged with a slightly lower suspension to increase the handle on the car.

As is known, Toyota Mirai is a car that carries the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) technology. However, for this concept, it is not known about the performance and speed improvement obtained.

As an illustration, Toyota Mirai Concept Sport is equipped with a powertrain measuring 182 dk and a 300 Nm torque which is claimed to be able to go up to 647 km. Mirai is also equipped with a TNGA-L platform like Crown Sedan and Lexus LS.

Toyota Mirai standar dijual dengan harga mulai dari 7,1 juta yen atau sekitar Rp757,1 juta hingga 8,6 juta yen atau sekitar Rp916,3 juta.

Although the Mirai Sport Concept has not yet been announced to be a production model, it is reported that Toyota will put emphasis on the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) model and manufacturers are committed to developing hydrogen technology.

Previously, the manufacturer's top performance division, Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), also released a teaser image of one of the newest models from Toyota that will be present under the name TGR. Reportedly the car is a GR Prius even though the potential model is not a Prius.
