BMW Officially Released One From 50 Units 3.0 CSL, At BMW Welt, Munich
JAKARTA - BMW has officially released a rare unit from the car 3.0 CSL. The handover to the first customer took place majestically at the BMW exhibition, BMW Welt, located in Munich, Germany.
The car units handed over are one of only 50 units of 3.0 CSL available worldwide. The peculiarities of this car lie not only in very limited numbers, but also in quite a long production time.
This car has a stunning appearance with Alpine White's base livery, polished with a touch of blue and red color that characterizes BMW's top performance division, M. The production of this car itself was carried out at the BMW factory, Digolfing, Germany, as part of BMW M's 50th anniversary celebration in the previous year. And each unit takes three months to complete with full perfection.
However, the privilege of a 3.0 CSL is not only located on its charming design and its long production time. BMW also claims that it has the most powerful linear 6-cylinder engine ever. Powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged engine, the car is capable of generating 552 dk of power and 550 Nm of torque. The combination of rear wheels drivers and six manual accelerations provides impressive performance.
The uniqueness of this car is also reflected in the price. BMW sold 3.0 CSL at a price of 780,000 US dollars or around Rp. 11.6 billion. This amount is five times higher than the basic model price of 3.0 CSL, M4 CSL, which is priced at around 140,895 US dollars or around Rp. 2.1 billion.
With all its privileges, it is not surprising that the 3.0 CSL is a fight for rare car collectors and BMW lovers around the world.
