Nurse At Hermina Hospital Bandar Lampung Persecuted, PPNI Asks Police To Take Action
The Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) Lampung asked the police to take firm action against the perpetrators of the abuse of health workers (nakes) at the Hermina Bandar Lampung Hospital recently.
"We ask the police to immediately carry out legal proceedings and conduct investigations of related parties," said PPNI Lampung Legal Division Jasmen Nadeak, in Bandar Lampung, Monday, May 29, confiscated by Antara.
He said the victim was a nurse at the Hermina Hospital who had made a report to the Bandar Lampung Police on May 5, 2023, but until now there has been no follow-up.
"The report has been made, indeed at that time the victim would have an examination report (BAP) but it didn't happen because the person concerned was psychological and physically not in good condition," he said.

Therefore, Jasmen hopes that this case will be immediately followed up by the police because the current condition of the victim is in good condition and ready to be summoned for use at the BAP.
"The condition of the victim has improved, we hope that there will be an examination in this case soon," he said.
According to him, with the follow-up and examination of this case, it is hoped that the public will be aware and not arbitrary with the health workers, both nurses, doctors and midwives.
"According to the regulations, health workers who are on duty should not be treated arbitrarily and acts of violence, especially when providing services," he said.
Previously, a case of abuse occurred in the Hermina Lampung Hospital on Sunday, April 30. As a result of the persecution, a nurse suffered a broken nose due to violence by the patient's family.
