KPK Ensures Determination Of Suspect Of Supreme Court Secretary Hasbi Hasan Seuai Rules

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed the determination of Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan as a suspect according to the rules. Legal provisions have been followed to investigate cases of bribery in case management.

"We emphasize that all processes carried out by the KPK are currently in accordance with the provisions of criminal procedural law," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Sunday, May 28.

Even so, the KPK is ready to face a pretrial lawsuit filed by Hasbi. Ali said the legal process was not to test the ongoing investigation material.

"The pretrial is only testing aspects of the process according to the criminal procedural law," he said.

The KPK also addressed the same attitude for a pretrial lawsuit filed by the former Commissioner of PT Wika Beton, Dadan Tri Yudianto. "We are certainly ready to face it," said Ali.

Hasbi Hasan filed a pretrial lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on Friday, May 26. The submission was made in connection with the status of a suspect in the alleged bribery handling of the case at the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, Dadan filed a pretrial lawsuit on Friday, May 19. The trial is scheduled to be held on Monday, June 5.

Previously, Hasbi's involvement was detected by the KPK after his name was mentioned in the indictments of Theodorus Yosep Parera and Eko Suparno who are lawyers. Mentioned, he helped in managing the case in the Supreme Court with the intermediary Commissioner of PT Wika Beton Dadan Tri Yudianto.
