Uniswap Will Distribute 4.4 Million Crypto ARB

JAKARTA The decentralized crypto exchange platform (DEX) Uniswap will reportedly distribute 4.4 million ARB tokens. However, the plan is still under the consideration of the Uniswap Foundation.

One of the Uniswap Foundation's teams, Erin Koen, has asked Uniswap users for input regarding the ARB token distribution plan. The proposal process will last for two weeks. Therefore, responses from the Uniswap community will be integrated into proposals in accordance with existing governance procedures.

On the other hand, Arbitrum DAO has provided part of its governance token to Uniswap as an award for Uniswap's contribution to the success of the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Uniswap will receive 4.4 million ARB tokens in this distribution. The token will be transferred to DAO's Arbitrum address and its expenses will be determined through standard governance voting.

Launching Coincu, Uniswap is also exploring the possibility of prospective implementation of the Coinbase 2 blockchain basis. If the request is approved, this will help Coinbase's initiative.

Uniswap v3 is currently available on several networks compatible with EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine), including Ethereum, Celo, BNB Chain, and Layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum. Although this new version is in the testing phase, the Uniswap Foundation announced it will soon install Uniswap v3 after the launch of the testnet.
