The SAR Team For The Evacuation Of Egyptian Foreigners Injured While Swimming At Kelingking Beach Nusa Penida Bali
DENPASAR - The Search and Rescue (SAR) team evacuated a foreign national from Egypt who suffered an injury while swimming in the sea in the Kelingking Beach area, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali.
The Coordinator of the SAR Alert Unit Nusa Penida Cakra Negara said the victim with the initials R (29) suffered an arm injury due to being hit by waves and needed to be evacuated immediately in order to get medical treatment.
Cakra said the evacuation of the Egyptian man was initially based on information from Basarnas Bali at 12.30 WITA from a tour guide.
The tour guide informed that the victim with the initials R (29) was hit by waves while swimming and could not be evacuated by land.
Following up on the request for assistance for evacuation, Basarnas Bali mobilized four personnel from the Nusa Penida SAR Alert Unit and one guide.

The evacuation process for victims was carried out by sea using a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) departing from Sampalan Harbor, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali.
"We lowered three rescuers to swim to the shoreline because RIB could not dock to the shoreline," said Cakra.
After successfully reaching the victim, he said, the rescue team then put the victim on a spinal stretcher and took him to RIB.
The evacuation process went smoothly and the victim was successfully evacuated at around 14:10 WITA, and 20 minutes later RIB had docked at Banjar Nyuh Port, Nusa Penida, Klungkung.
Furthermore, the medical team assisted by the Nusa Penida Sector Police personnel took the foreigner to the Pratama Nusa Penida Clinic, Klungkung.
