BANDA ACEH - The Lhokseumawe District Attorney's Office (Kejari), Aceh Province has again confiscated Rp4.7 billion from three sources of fund flow related to the alleged corruption case at PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital.

"The total confiscation from the alleged corruption case of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital amounted to more than Rp7.8 billion, out of a total state loss of Rp43 billion," said Head of the Lhokseumawe District Attorney's Office Lalu Syaifuddin as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 15.

He explained that the confiscation was carried out after investigators blocked the account belonging to PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital in the amount of more than Rp. 4 billion.

Furthermore, the return of the flow of funds suspected of corruption from the Director of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe for the previous period with the initials S amounted to Rp660 million and from the financial manager of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe with the initials A amounting to Rp39.7 million.

After confiscating evidence from several sources of funds from the alleged corruption flow of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe, he said, the Kejari would then determine who would be the suspect in the case.

"When to determine the suspect in this case, wait for further notification," he said.

Previously, said Lalu Syaifuddin, his party had received a refund of Rp3.1 billion related to the case from PT Pembangunan Lhokseumawe (PTPL).

"Once again, I firmly urge all parties who feel that they have received the flow of corruption funds from PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital to immediately return the money. Otherwise, the prosecutor's team of investigators has their own way of tracing the funds," he said.

According to Lalu Syaifuddin, his party has pocketed the names that will be named as suspects and will be announced in the near future.

"Investigators have found a flow of funds in the corruption case at PT RS Arun, both to individuals and corporations, so that from the flow of funds, we have examined dozens of witnesses. In this month we will announce the suspect in this case," he said.

Previously, the Lhokseumawe Kejari investigating team had also searched and sealed the room of the President Director of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital regarding alleged irregularities in operational funds at hospitals from 2016-2022.
