April 19 Predicted As The Peak Of Homecoming Flows At Kampung Rambutan Terminal
JAKARTA - According to the Head of the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Yulza Romadhoni, the initial wave of homecoming flow at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal since Thursday, April 13, has increased by 100 percent compared to normal days.
Yulza also predicts that the peak of the 2023 Lebaran homecoming flow at the terminal will occur on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
"It is possible that the peak of the homecoming flow will be on April 19. That is the prediction we saw at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal," said Yulza when met at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta, Saturday.
Yulza said that before Ramadan, passengers who went through Kampung Rambutan ranged from 300-400 people per day.
According to him, this number will continue to grow as Lebaran 2023 approaches. The majority of the destination cities for passengers go to Central Java, West Java, and to a number of cities in Sumatra.
"For the most destination cities to Central Java, West Java and Sumatra," he said.
Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya predicts that the peak of the homecoming flow ahead of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri will occur in two waves or two times which will start on Friday (14/4).
"It is estimated that the peak of the homecoming flow will occur in two or two waves, starting tomorrow," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
Meanwhile, the second wave of homecoming flows will occur next week from Tuesday to Wednesday (April 18-19).
"The peak of the second homecoming flow is from April 18 to 19, 2023," he concluded.
