Landing In Malaysia, Lotus Eletre Offered Up To IDR 2 Billion

JAKARTA - The latest SUV produced by Lotus, Lotus Eletre has officially touched the Malaysian market. As an Electric Vehicle (EV), Eletre will provide two choices of powertrains consisting of three variants, namely standard Eletre, Eletre S, and the highest version Eletre R.

Reporting from paultan, Thursday, April 13, 2023, the exterior of Eletre consists of a matrix LED headlights equipped with day-to-day mode, fog lights, welcome lights at home, and a manned washer jet.

For the Electre S and R variants, side mirrors are added that can close automatically, rear privacy glass, and soft-closing doors.

Moving to the legs, Lotus pinned a 22-inch charging rim with Pirelli P Zero tires. Meanwhile, for the Eletre R variant, it is equipped with a P Zero Corsa tire which measures 275/35 front and 315/30 back, both of which are fitted with 23-inch gluss black rims.

For the interior, the five-seater SUV chooses micro fiber ingredients that are also environmentally friendly rather than made from real skin.

Lotus also offers features such as wireless charging, neatly arranged glass spots, infotainment systems with the operation of Lotus Hyper OS with the help of the Qualcomm 8155 system-on-chip, as well as future-generation 3D content supported by the Unreal Engine technology.

The infotainment system also includes a 15.1-inch screen located in the middle with full- HD OLED touchscreen, 15-speaker KEF Premium Uni-QTM, and also available in the 23-speaker option.

For security features provided Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), driver monitoring system, collision warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), blind spot detectors, and parking assistance for drivers.

In terms of deep components, all versions will be equipped with dual-motors with an all-wheel drive system (AWD). However, each variant has different output and performance.

The standard variant and Eletre S are able to waste 605 dk of power and 710 Nm of torque which can accelerate 0-100 km/hour in a time of 4.5 seconds which can travel at the highest speed of up to 258 km/hour.

Unlike the other two variants, Eletre R has a high performance. The SUV can produce 905 dk and torque 985 Nm, which can travel from 0 to 100 km/hour in a period of 2.95 seconds. Eletre R is capable of producing a top speed of up to 265 km/hour claimed by Lotus as the fastest electric SUV in the world.

In terms of price, Lotus offers standard Eletre for 578,000 Malaysian ringgit (a range of Rp1.9 billion), Eletre S for 648,000 (a range of Rp2.1 billion), and Eletre R for 798,000 (approximately Rp2.6 billion).

Lotus Cars Malaysia will only present 200 units for Malaysia and they claim that 140 customers have ordered for 2023.
