Dewas Plans To Call Again KPK Leaders
JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board plans to recall the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for questioning regarding reports of alleged violations that came in. However, it is not yet known when the summons is continued.
"Later (it will be called again, ed). Another case," said KPK Council Member Syamsuddin Haris to reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, April 12.
Syamsuddin said there were a number of reports of alleged ethical violations that came in. One of them is related to the dismissal of Brigadier General Endar Priantoro as Director of Investigation of the KPK, which is currently in the process of investigating.
"There are many reports," he said.
As previously reported, Brigadier General Endar Priantoro reported Firli and the Secretary General of the KPK Cahya H. Harefa to the KPK Supervisory Board. This report was carried out in the aftermath of his removal from the position he held, namely the Director of Investigation.
Endar was respectfully dismissed on March 31 after he was returned to the National Police. However, the Bhayangkara Corps member was instead asked to return to the KPK according to the order of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
In addition, on another occasion Firli was also reported to the Council for allegedly leaking the investigation documents of alleged corruption at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources by Endar. He also submitted a report regarding the coercion of the issuance of case documents before the title of the case or exposure.
Next, Firli was also reported by former KPK leaders Abraham Samad, Bambang Widjojanto, and Saut Situmorang with the Civil Society Coalition on Monday, April 10. This report relates to the leaking of documents at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
