The National Police Are Invited To Re-submit Endar In The Selection Of Directors Of Education, KPK: Not Automatically Accepted

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has invited the National Police to re-submit Brigadier General Endar Priantoro as Director of Investigation (Dir Lidik) of the KPK.

"Yes, please, it's okay to apply again. Later tests will not be automatically accepted," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, April 8.

Alex revealed that currently there are four vacant positions in the anti-corruption agency, and his party has written to the prosecutor's office and the police to send a list of candidates to then undergo tests to fill the position.

"We are currently sending letters to the prosecutor and the police, there will be several vacant bidding positions, for the Deputy for Enforcement and Director of investigations, the prosecutor then Korwil (Regional Coordinator) 1," he said.

In the selection of positions, the KPK will form a selection committee that will involve external parties.

Brigadier General Endar Priantoro is a former Director of Investigation of the KPK who was respectfully dismissed as stated in the Letter of the Secretary General of the KPK dated March 31, 2023.

The letter from the Secretary General of the KPK was addressed to the National Police regarding the re-handling of Endar Priantoro to the National Police institution on March 30, 2023.

However, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo wrote back to the Chairman of the KPK Firli Bahuri regarding the answer to the return of Polri members to serve in the KPK environment.

The National Police Chief in the response letter registered with Number: B/2725/IV/KEP./2023 as of April 3, 2023, maintains or assigns Brigadier General Pol. Endar Priantoro as Director of KPK Investigation.
