KCI Responds To The Accumulation Of KRL Passengers At Manggarai Station

JAKARTA - The accumulation of commuterline train users at Manggarai Station, South Jakarta, repeated on Thursday, April 6. The accumulation of passengers occurred due to Wessel repairs, making it difficult for many train users to climb the high platform of Manggarai Station.

KAI Commuter's External Relations & Corporate Image Care Manager, Leza Arlan, said that regarding the viral video at Manggarai Station due to operational problems, there were disruptions to the South Indonesia infrastructure at the Manggarai Station assembly.

Due to these obstacles, he continued, the relevant officers immediately carried out an examination.

"At 06.26 WIB, officers managed to handle the constraints of the wessel, the commuterline from lin Bekasi/Cikarang on the route VI of Manggarai Station," said Leza when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, April 6.

Commuterline travel at Maggarai Station returned to normal at 06.27 WIB.

"Currently in the process of breaking the density. In the repair process there is a travel disruption so that there is a slowness of 2 commuterline trips, namely Commuterline Train No. 5103B at Matraman Station, a 16-minute delay and Commuterline Train No. 5505B in Jng-Mri, a 15-minute delay," he said.

KAI Commuter appealed to commuterline users to always comply with the rules and directions of officers in the field.

"It does not force an increase if the commuterline situation is already congested," he said.
