A Real Time Company Data Movement Confluent With Kafka Apache Technology

JAKARTA During its two years of existence in Indonesia, Confluent tried to move data in real time using a closed-native platform that can operate anywhere.

Cloud-native has helped Confluent to work in internal enterprise environments, servers. This software approach can also manage applications in high-security multi-and-hybrid environments.

Native cloud technology is an approach to run a software program by optimizing closed services. With this approach, Confluent tries to help companies store, process, and manage data quickly.

So far, Confluent believes that they can target more companies in Indonesia. The reason is, the Apache Kafka technology they use has been widely used in the world and can be said to be the main component for streaming data.

"We have confidence that it seems that almost all companies in Indonesia, which have provided direct services to customers, must use Apache Kafka technology," said Asia Confluent Vice President Rully Moulany.

In line with this statement, Rully stated that Apache Kafka is a factotechnology that is indeed used to channel data in real-time so that Confluent is the main alternative for many companies.

In addition, Rully said that his company will target all sectors, even banks and governments. Whatever the type of company, Confluent must first ensure that they have qualified technology and competence.

Although currently many native cloud-based streaming data services have been used, price problems may be one of the challenges of this approach. According to Rully, high prices are something normal.

The reason is, the convenience presented with this approach requires a high cost to build infrastructure, networks, and other operational needs to maintain data security.

"Operatively, we don't want our data to be unsafe. Inggin is secure. So I think all considerations determine the price of the closed service," Rully explained to VOI.

However, it is possible that the price offered by vendor technology could fall. According to Rully, all of this goes back to consumer demand. The more users, the more the cost goes down.

Despite the costs, this technological solution must be overall safe. Rully said that cyber defense is developed from various sides, starting from governance based on policies to the perspective of the party running the data.

"As a provider of technological solutions, of course we already have built-in features in our solution so that the application of the technology can be adopted regardless of governance owned by companies of people running it," said Rully.
