Hyundai Motor America is working with Hyundai Capital America and announcing its new Evolve + electric vehicle subscription service at the Chicago Auto Show 2023.

This new service provides flexibility and price affordability for consumers who want to drive Hyundai's latest electric vehicle without purchasing a vehicle or long-term rental.

Evolve+ is a monthly subscription service that starts at a price of US$699 (Rp10.8 million) per month for Kona Electric and US$899 (Rp14 million) per month for IONIQ 5.

Like the concept of subscription in general, customers can cancel Evolve+ subscriptions at any time during each subscription period.

Evolve+ is currently available at select dealers in six states with plans to add more by the end of the year.

With no documents, no commitment, and no long-term loans, Evolve+ is the optimal solution for car shopping for 'EV targeting' cars, said Olabisi Boyle, vice president, product planning and mobility strategy, North Hyundai Motor in its announcement.

With this subscription concept, Boyle hopes to increase EV adoption and awareness when customers transition to the future of EVs.
