A Year Without New Songs, Waode Returns Can Be Without You

JAKARTA - For more than a year without releasing a new work, Waode finally returned with the latest single titled Bisa Without You. The song, written by Tintin and▁pengetahuan Chandra, has become his third single since debut in the national music industry.

Initially Waode was offered several songs by Trinity Optima Production to be worked on as a new single. Finally, the 26-year-old singer chose Bisa Without You because of the story in the song she had experienced herself.

"Initially, I was given several choices of songs by the team. Then, I was attracted to Being Without You, because the lyrics were deep and I had also experienced the story," Waode said in his statement, Monday, January 22.

The same thing was also conveyed by Dwi Santoso, Head of A&R (Music Production & Talent Scouting) Trinity Optima Production. He saw the characteristics of the song Bisa Without You fit when sung by Waode.

"This song is very suitable for Waode, because it is able to accelerate Waode's vocal abilities, which are quite wide and above average. He is a singer whose determination is very high in pursuing his dreams and passions. This can be seen from the many talent search events he has participated in, as well as his great consistency on various live stages," said Dwi Santoso.

"These things make us confident and determined to provide full support, as we did in the previous single Waode," he continued.

Meanwhile, being able to go without you is about someone who is not wanted and needed again by his lover. Even though he has tried his best to maintain a relationship, the lover's decision is unanimous and still chooses to leave. In the end, he must accept the fact that he must be able to get through his days without his idol.

In the recording process, Waode was assisted by Kamga as a vocal director. The singer from Baubau, South Sulawesi, admitted that he was happy to work with Kamga who gave him many ideas and spaces to celebrate.

On the other hand, praise for Waode's ability was also conveyed by Kamga. "It's great to direct Waode, because the way he sings is really cool. Engineering and perfect taste, which I rarely see singers like that. Then, he can do anything, and his son is also very funny. We laugh a lot while working, even though the song makes me want to cry. Waode's musicality is extraordinary. He's like a robot with a human heart.
