MG4 EV Local Production Attracts Visitors To IIMS 2024, Including Indonesian President Joko Widodo

JAKARTA - MG Motor Indonesia, as the provider of Morris Garage (MG) vehicles in Indonesia, participated in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024 with several advanced mobility products.

One of the models brought in is the locally produced MG4 EV (CKD), continuing the company's commitment to expanding environmentally friendly ecosystems in the country.

The MG4 EV has a length dimension of 4,287 mm, a width of 1,836 mm, a height of 1,516 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,705 mm. Its futuristic and sporty designs are highly liked by various groups.

As the first electric vehicle from MG in Indonesia, the MG4 EV is equipped with a rear-wheel drive electric motor that produces 167 dk of power. With this force, the MG4 EV can reach a speed of 0-100 km/hour within 7.7 seconds.

In addition, MG4 EV is equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with a capacity of 51 kWh which can cover a distance of up to 425 km.

The car, which is a challenger to BYD Dolphin in Indonesia, is priced at a competitive price of IDR 433 million on The Road DKI Jakarta.

In the IIMS 2024 event, MG brought the spirit of 'Charge Up The Future, Charge Up The Nation' which reflected Indonesia's journey towards a greener era of mobility.
