Community Mobility In Lebaran Is High, Jasa Marga For Toll Revenue Grows In 2024

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is optimistic that toll road revenues can continue to grow positively.

This is supported by predictions of increasing community mobility during Eid al-Fitr or Eid Al-Fitr 2024.

For your information, a survey conducted by a joint team from the Ministry of Transportation, BPS and Kominfo predicts that the national movement of people has the potential to reach 71.7 percent of the total population of Indonesia or 193.6 million people.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head, Lisye Octaviana, said that her party would maintain positive growth.

Even so, he admitted that he could not mention the target.

"If our income projection cannot be conveyed in detail because we are a TBK company, there will be a period when we convey it," he said when met at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.

"But what we can say is that we will maintain positive growth because we are unable to see the traffic volume increase compared to last year's Eid. We have projected all of that in a year," he continued.

For your information, Jasa Marga's revenue from the toll road sector continues to grow from year to year even though it was hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

In 2018 Jasa Marga's revenue from the toll road was IDR 9.03 trillion, in 2019 it increased by IDR 10.13 trillion, in 2020 it decreased by IDR 8.76 trillion, in 2021 it increased beyond the income before the pandemic, which was IDR 10.78 trillion, and in 2022 it shot up again to IDR 12.44 trillion.

Meanwhile, in 2023, Jasa Marga's revenue from toll roads will again increase to Rp13.94 trillion.

Of the series of toll roads operating, the Cikampek-Padalarang toll road is the largest toll revenue of Rp1.2 trillion, Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi toll revenue is Rp1.14 trillion, followed by JORR Section non S worth Rp1.13 trillion, and Jakarta-Tangerang worth Rp997.03 billion.

The Cawang-Tomang-Pluit toll road contributed Jasa Marga revenue of Rp971.09 billion. Next, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sedyatmo toll revenue was recorded at Rp664.59 billion, Padalarang-Cileunyi toll road worth Rp463.17 billion, Pondok Aren-Bintaro Viaduct-Ulujami worth Rp176.03 billion, and Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa worth Rp172.53 billion.

The revenue from the toll road is the main contributor to Jasa Marga's total revenue achievement in 2023 which reached IDR 21.31 trillion, an increase of 101.53 percent from 2022 revenue of IDR 16.58 trillion.
