Jasa Raharja Prepares Compensation For Train Accident Victims In Cicalengka, This Is The Amount

PT Jasa Rraharja has confirmed that it will provide compensation to all victims of the Turangga and KRL Bandung Raya train accidents on the Cicalengka Crossing Line, Haurpugur, Bandung Regency, on Friday, January 5 this morning.

Jasa Raharja President Director Rivan A Purwantono said that currently Jasa Raharja and PT KAI were already at the location to identify the victims.

"We are all concerned but we make sure that all passengers are guaranteed because JR and KAI have been cooperating for a very long time and all train passengers are guaranteed by Jasa Raharja," Rivan told the media, Friday, January 5.

Rivan said the victims who were entitled to receive compensation were the dead and injured.

"If we die today, we will hand it over to the heirs of the victims and for those who are injured, we will make sure they are treated and get guarantees from Jasa Raharja," he said.

The amount of compensation that will be given is Rp. 20 million for injured victims and Rp. 50 million for victims who died.

For information, as many as 28 injured victims as a result of the Turangga train collision with the Bandung Raya local train were taken to the Cicalengka Hospital.

"28 people were evacuated to the Cicalengka Hospital," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, to VOI, Friday, January 5.

The Turangga train accident occurred at KM 181+5/4 Babakan Village, Cicalengka Village, Bandung Regency at around 06.03 WIB.

Three people died in this incident, namely the local KRD driver Padalarang-Cicalengka, Julian Dwi Setiono, Assistant Driver of the KRD Local Ponisan and Pramugara KA Turangga named Adrian.

Meanwhile, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) together with the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) immediately investigated the cause of the train accident (KA) in Cicalengka, Bandung Regency, West Java.
