JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) will operate 34 additional trains during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year (Nataru) Transport periods. This train is prepared to anticipate a surge in passengers during the Nataru holiday period.
KAI's VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said the total KAI added 311,856 long-distance train seats. The additional trains are available for favorite connection trips such as Jakarta-Solo pp, Jakarta-Surabaya pp, Jakarta-Malang pp, Bandung-Solo pp, and others.
"KAI added several trips on various routes and classes to accommodate the high interest of people using trains at the Nataru moment," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, November 29.
Joni said the presence of this Additional KA-KA shows KAI's readiness to provide transportation facilities for customers who want to travel during the Nataru period, as well as a form of KAI's commitment to serve the community as well as possible.
Furthermore, Joni said that the additional train tickets can be ordered starting today, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 00.00 WIB through the Access by KAI application, the kai.id web, and all other official online sales channels.
"Lokets at the station only serve go show ticket sales starting 3 hours before the train departure schedule," he said.
