UI, ITB, And UNPAR Students Win BCA Case Competition And Succeed In Enthusastic Marketer!

JAKARTA - After going through a fairly tight competition process, the BCA Business Case Competition 2023: Be an Enthusastic Marketer officially ended. The PAU PETROL group from students from the University of Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology, and Parahyangan Catholic University won 1 competition.

This competition also gave awards to 2 students from Udayana University and the University of Indonesia as Most Valuable Participant. The winners managed to get a total prize of IDR 50 million as well as an internship and career opportunity at BCA.

The competition which took place from August 21 to September 1 was attended by more than 2,250 students throughout Indonesia. Of these, 60 students were chosen to take part in the elimination round, leaving 30 of the best participants in the semifinals which were held at the BCA Learning Institute located in Sentul, Bogor.

They then had to do a roleplay and presentation to reach the top 3. Head of BCA Regional Office I Fely Hadinata, SVP Marketing Communication BCA Norisa Saifuddin, and SVP Cash Management BCA Irwan Prabawa attended as a jury and tested the potential of students.

During the competition, participants were given training related to marketing and negotiation tips which were expected to be a good provision when students began to enter the world of work.

"Seeing the high interest of Indonesian students in the competition that has just been held in its first year, we hope that BCA can return to implementing the BCA Business Case Competition regularly and become an event that students have been waiting for every year. We also hope that the BCA Business Case Competition can inspire Indonesian students to hone their interests and talents in the banking world," said Rudi Lim, EVP Human Capital BCA.

BCA Business Case Competition 2023: Be Enthusastic Marketer! has started since the registration stage in mid-July, followed by an online and offline elimination round, as well as the final round throughout August. BCA hopes that this program can be a tangible form of BCA's commitment to accelerating the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by supporting participants to get quality education.

The BCA Business Case Competition 2023 activity is also an effort for BCA to produce a superior young generation, who want to explore and develop themselves in the banking world.
