As Of Today, Jasa Marga Records 158 Thousand Vehicles Leaving Jabotabek

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. noted, as many as 158,835 vehicles left the Jabotabek area on D-7 Eid Al-Fitr 2023. This number is the cumulative number of traffic flow (traffic) from the four Barrier / Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (direction to Merak), GT Ciawi (direction to Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (direction to Trans Java), and GT Kalihurip Utama (direction to Bandung).

"The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 2.46 percent compared to normal traffic (from 155,022 vehicles) in the Lebaran 2022 period. "Meanwhile, when compared with the prediction of traffic volume in the same period homecoming, the total volume of traffic is 6.7 percent lower (out of 170,174 vehicles)," he added.

As for the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek towards all three directions, namely the majority of 73,474 vehicles or 46.3 percent heading East (Trans Java and Bandung), 51,660 vehicles or 32.5 percent heading West (Merak), and 33,701 vehicles or 21.2 percent heading South (Puncak).
