JAKARTA - The Constitutional Court (MK) started a panel of judges (RPH) today, Saturday, after the 2024 General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) session, which aims to determine the decisions of the entire PHPU process.

The pronouncement of the verdict or stipulation of the entire PHPU process for the 2024 presidential election is scheduled by the Constitutional Court on April 22, 2024.

"Tomorrow, the RPH will start, continuously because there is a PHPU for the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg) as well," said Constitutional Court Judge Enny Nurbaningsih as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 5.

In the RPH, Enny explained that all constitutional judges will convey their respective views on the entire PHPU series, including if there are parties who reach conclusions.

During the RPH, he invited if there were parties who wanted to convey conclusions in the handling of the PHPU for the 2024 presidential election. The Constitutional Court will wait for this conclusion no later than April 16, 2024 at 16.00 WIB.

The length of time for submitting the conclusion, he said, was given the need for a long process in preparing conclusions for each party as well as the long holiday and leave with Eid.

"Even though it's a holiday, the Constitutional Court doesn't take a day off," he asserted.

He also ensured that there would be no more summons to get a statement from the PHPU for the 2024 presidential election, so that the summons of the four ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet and the Election Organizing Honorary Council (DKPP) on Friday (5/4) was the closing PHPU session.

The four ministers in question are Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.

However, if there is a response to the statements of the four ministers and DKPP, he said that the parties could convey it at the stage of submitting conclusions.

Enny said that conveying the conclusion was not mandatory because it was not in the Constitutional Court Regulation (PMK), but the stage was held in accordance with the decision of the RPH.

"It doesn't give weight to the parties, it's also profitable for them to make conclusions," said Enny.
