The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) deployed six fleets to extinguish a fire in a house on Jalan Sunter Indah Raya, Tanjung Priok District.

"We deployed 30 personnel to extinguish the fire which is thought to have originated from an electric'short circuit'," said Head of the Operations Section of the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid in Jakarta, Sunday.

"We do the blackout until 12.10 WIB and Alhamdulillah it can be handled properly," he said.

From this incident there were no casualties, but an estimated loss of around Rp. 100 million.
