JAKARTA - Investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya changed the password or password of Aiman Witjaksono's email and Instagram account that had been previously confiscated in handling cases of alleged 'neutral police hoaxes'. The investigator's actions are in accordance with Perkabareskrim number 1 of 2022, dated December 27, 2022, concerning standard operating procedures for technical assistance investigations and criminal investigations. "The confiscation of investigators was published in the confiscation report and minutes of opening access and exports or copying accounts and then submitting receipts to witness Aiman Witjaksono," said Leonardus. Aiman Witjaksono objected to the confiscation of his cellphone, email, and Instagram account. This is because there are important sources in question to protect sources. "Investigators seem to be from my statement who do not want to provide information on my sources and then confiscate them, until finally investigators issue a request for confiscation," said Aiman. Meanwhile, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, emphasized that the confiscation of Aiman Witjaksono's cell phone was for the sake of evidence in the investigation. Moreover, the confiscation process has received permission from the South Jakarta District Court.

"The confiscation is a series of actions by investigators to take over and or store under their control, objects moving or not moving, tangible or intangible, for the sake of evidence in investigation, prosecution and judiciary," said Ade.
