Fedi Nuril's Answer To Cooperation With Israel, Spokesperson For The Minister Of Defense: Pak Prabowo Doesn't Take Care Of That

Spokesperson for the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto, Dahnil A Simanjuntak denied the role of Defense Minister Prabowo in the alleged cooperation between Indonesia and Israel regarding agriculture and food security.

Dahnil's rebuttal was a response to actor Fedi Nuril's question regarding this which was presented in an English-speaking Israeli media article, The Jerusalem Post published January 11, 2022.

"Bro Fedi. The answer is clear and clear, there is no plan and cooperation with Israel regarding the Agriculture sector, especially since Pak Prabowo does not take care of this," wrote Dahnil in his X (Twitter) account, @Dahnilanzar, Monday 12 February.

Dahnil conveyed that what was published in The Jerusalem Post was an Israeli campaign. According to him, the normalization of Indonesia-Israel relations is contrary to the constitutional mandate that has been determined by the nation's founders.

"You don't need to join the Israeli propaganda. Our constitutional attitude is clear, there is no cooperation with Israel," he said.

Previously, Fedi Nuril questioned an article entitled "How agriculture made the Indonesian Minister of Defense discuss normalization with Israel" (How agriculture sold Indonesia's defense minister to talk normalization with Israel) published The Jerusalem Post.

In the article, it was explained that Defense Minister Prabowo met with Israel's National Security Adviser Eyal Hulata at a conference in Manama, Bahrain, in November 2021.

The two are called The Jerusalem Post discussing the normalization of RI-Israel relations and cooperation in agriculture and food security.
