JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Anies-Muhaimin National Team (Timnas AMIN) Iwan Tarigan responded to the release of the film Dirty Vote which the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) considered to contain slander.

Iwan emphasized that the views on allegations of fraud in the 2024 election conveyed by constitutional law experts in the film Dirty Vote are based on facts.

"All of this is in accordance with the facts, where the source is mentioned and the data is valid and consistent. So, it is difficult to say that it is slanderous news," said Iwan to VOI, Monday, February 12.

Iwan views that this film can reveal indications that the election was colored by dirty political games to realize the interests of groups and groups.

"We see that all these election fraud plans were not designed overnight, nor were they designed alone, but were well planned and required a lot of time and a lot of funds," he explained.

In the same vein, the Legal Deputy for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, Todung Mulya Lubis also views the Prabowo-Gibran camp as responding to criticism in the film Dirty Vote with other criticism.

"What I don't want is not to get emotional. Many people get irritated when criticized. Well, this social media is dangerous, if you don't agree with what is made in the film, just refute the film by making another film. Dirty Vote is an explanatory documentary film that reveals allegations of election fraud presented by three constitutional law experts, namely Bivitri Susanti, Zainal Arifin Mochtar, and Feri Amsari.

These three legal experts explained the practice of nepotism using instruments of power with the aim of winning the 2024 elections by the rulers.

The nepotism cases that Bivitri, Zainal Arifin and Feri responded to were revealed through photo documents, videos and news clips. The forms of fraud are explained by analyzing constitutional law.

According to Bivitri, the film Dirty Vote is a historical record of the breakdown of this country's democracy at a time, where power was abused so openly by people who were elected through democracy itself.

“Tells about two things. First, about democracy, which cannot be interpreted simply as holding elections, but how elections take place. Not just the results of the vote count, but whether the entire election process was carried out fairly and in accordance with constitutional values. "Second, regarding power that is misused due to nepotism, which is unlawful in a democratic rule of law," explained Bivitri in his statement.

Meanwhile, TKN Prabowo-Gibran suspects that the documentary film Dirty Vote, which was launched on the YouTube platform, aims to reduce the price of the 2024 election.

Deputy Chairman of TKN Prabowo-Gibran Habiburokhman asked the public not to be fooled by the narratives in the film, because he believes that most of the content is limited to assumptions.

“Most of what the film conveys is slanderous, a hate narrative that is very assumptive and very unscientific. "I questioned the capacity of the characters in the film and I felt like there was a tendency, a desire to degrade this election with a very baseless narrative," said Habiburokhman when reading TKN's position on the Dirty Vote documentary broadcast at a press conference in Jakarta.
