Hendro said that ACA had been sadistic torture of her biological child for a long time. He did it because he was annoyed at his son who was considered naughty.

"At that time the perpetrator was cooking water, because the child upset him, he splashed with hot water and his son was asked to drink boiling water until his mouth was hurt," said Hendro.

Not only securing ACA, the police also confiscated a number of evidences from the suspect's house, namely two plastic glasses, a water heater, a dog beater, two blue rubber straps, two sets of white and red SD uniforms, one cell phone, and a flash drive containing photos and videos of the victim.

The police charged ACA with Article 44 paragraph (2) of Law 23/2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, and Article 80 paragraph (2) and (4) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, with a penalty of 10 years in prison.
