Weather January 17, Be Alert! Thunderstorms in South Jakarta and West Jakarta Wednesday Afternoon

JAKARTA - Rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration is expected to occur again in parts of Jakarta on Wednesday 17 January, especially in the South Jakarta (Jaksel) and West Jakarta (Jakbar) areas.

Based on early warnings from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the weather prediction will occur during the day.

The temperature in the DKI Jakarta area ranges from 24-32 degrees Celsius with humidity between 75%-95%.

In general, conditions in the West Jakarta area will be cloudy in the morning, then it will start to rain in the afternoon. In the evening, the weather conditions were cloudy again.

Meanwhile, in the areas of Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands, conditions will generally be cloudy in the morning, then become thick cloudy in the afternoon. Weather conditions will return to cloudy at night.

For the Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Bodetabek) areas, light rain is generally predicted, but in Bogor and Tangerang there is the potential for moderate intensity rain.
