'Pak Jokowi-PDIP Is Fine'

The departure of Maruarar Sirait from the PDI-P is a question mark about President Jokowi's political position.

Ara Sirait admitted to following Jokowi's steps until he decided to hand over the membership card (KTA) to the party that made his name in a political career.

So what about Jokowi. The Presidential Special Staff Coordinator, Ari Dwipayana, did not answer clearly. He only emphasized that Jokowi and PDIP were 'good'

"Yes, until now there has been nothing, nothing, a statement from the President or from the PDIP about it. So it's fine," said Ari, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 16.

Ari emphasized that Maruarar Sirait's political stance was not linked to President Joko Widodo. However, Ara Sirait uploaded a photo with Jokowi after saying goodbye to the PDIP DPP. In the photo, Ara is seen wearing the same shirt when meeting Jokowi and meeting Utut Adianto when handing over the party's KTA.

"Whatever political attitude Bang Ara takes is the person concerned. So don't connect with the President," said Ari.

Asked about Ara's statement, Maruarar's nickname, who followed Jokowi's steps, Ari did not want to comment.

"That's Bang Ara's political attitude, right, so just ask Bang Ara," he said.

Ari said President Jokowi also considers Ara's political stance to be a personal decision in question.

"Regarding the President's attitude, yes, he said it was the personal political attitude concerned," he said.
