NORTH Sumatra (North Sumatra) Regional Police confiscated three tons of subsidized Biosolar fuel (BBM) in Bahorok District, Langkat Regency.

"From the confiscation, it was found that 100 jerry cans with a size of 30 liters, each containing Biosolar fuel weighing up to 3 tons," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi in Medan, North Sumatra, Sunday, January 14, as reported by Antara.

Hadi said the confiscation started when personnel secured a truck carrying subsidized Biosolar fuel without a permit to pass on Jalan Desa Tanjung Lenggang, Bahorok District, Langkat, Friday, January 12.

"Out of suspicion, the truck was stopped by officers, then, the vehicle carried by the man with the initials R and S as the kernet was secured," said Hadi.

He said based on information from R, the subsidized fuel was loaded from the house where JS's Biosolar collection was in Serapit District, Langkat.

"The plan is to sell it to Bahorok, Langkat, for excavator fuel," he said.

Hadi said that the transportation of fuel was not accompanied by any official documents. In fact, according to him, the payment for the sale and purchase of fuel was immediately made between JS and B and G (in the investigation).

"JS obtained the subsidized Biosolar type fuel from trucks that came directly (weeping), then collected it at his house," he said.

Hadi added that currently personnel are still carrying out further developments regarding this case.
