3 People Reportedly Died As A Result Of Turangga Train Collision With Commuter Line In Bandung

JAKARTA - Bandung Police Chief Kombes Kusworo Wibowo said there were 3 people who died as a result of the Bandung Raya Commuter Line local train collision with the Turangga train.

"There are 3 people who died," said Bandung Police Chief Kombes Kusworo Wibowo in a telephone connection interview on Kompas TV's Breaking News program quoted by VOI, Friday, January 5.

According to Kusworo, the three victims who died were the driver and train employees. Train passengers are reported to be safe.

"Masinis and train employees. Passengers are being evacuated," said Kusworo.

The train collision accident occurred on Jalan Haurpugur-Cicalengka at around 06.30 WIB, Friday, January 5.

From the video circulating, there was damage from the locomotive/carriage of the train to getting out of the lane. The passengers were also on the edge of the rail that was in the middle of the rice fields.
