Supervise Illegal Foreigners, Padang Immigration Comb TKA Mining Company In Solok

SUMBAR - Padang Immigration conducted an operation to examine documents of Foreign Workers (TKA) who worked at an iron seed mining company in Nagari Simpang Tanjuang Nan Ampek, Solok Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra).

Head of Immigration Class I TPI Padang Tedi Hartadi Wibowo said the active name Operation Jagratara was also for surveillance of foreigners.

"This aims to maintain national security stability during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 periods as well as the security section for the 2024 General Election," he said in Padang, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), Wednesday, December 27, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said the iron seed mining company in Solok Regency had five foreign workers from China.

The results of the examination, he said, no violations were found. The foreign workers have documents that match their designation.

Tedi said that his party continues to monitor foreign nationals who work in West Sumatra to ensure they have permits according to their designation.

According to him, throughout 2023, Class I Immigration Padang has deported 14 foreigners for violating immigration regulations.
