3 SMP Student Rapists In Sumbawa NTB Arrested, There Are 52 Years Old Perpetrators

NTB - Police arrested three perpetrators of rape of a 15-year-old junior high school student with the initials LT (15) in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Head of the Sumbawa Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Iptu Regi Halili, said the arrest was based on a follow-up to the victim's family report.

"Based on the results of a series of investigations and investigations, this afternoon at around 18.00 WITA, the three perpetrators were arrested and immediately detained," Regi said by telephone, Tuesday, December 20 evening, confiscated by Antara.

The three perpetrators who are now suspects from the results of the police case have the initials MS (52), JP (51), and SM (43).

He said investigators named the three suspects by finding at least two pieces of evidence, one of which was the results of the post-mortem on the victim.

"There is also evidence that strengthens the three perpetrators of committing immoral acts in three different locations in the August-September period. It was at the house of one of the perpetrators, at the empty pond house, and at the victim's family home," he said.

For the three suspects, investigators applied Article 81 paragraph (1), paragraph (2), paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 76D of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection.
